David is the secondary antagonist of Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us and the first season of its 2023 HBO adaptation, as well as the overarching antagonist of its 2014 prequel DLC expansion Left Behind. He is a middle-aged survivalist and cannibal leader who resides in the snowy mountains of Colorado. A survivalist and psychopath, David will do anything to survive, even murdering and devouring children. He was voiced and motion-captured by Nolan North, who also voiced Hades in God of War
