Ellie Williams is a lesbian character from The Last of Us. Ellie was born six years after a mutant strain of the Cordyceps fungus began infecting human beings, turning them into zombie-like creatures and mutants. Raised behind the walls of Boston City, which had been converted into a fortified "Quarantine Zone" by F.E.D.R.A, a provisional government which rose to power in the years after the Codryceps pandemic brought about the collapse of society, Ellie never knew her parents. Her mother, Anna
