The story is about the GetBackers, a duo of 2 best friends whose jobs are to retrieve what has been stolen. The story follows Ginji Amano and Ban Midou who are the 3rd generation of the Get Backers as they take on different requests. To continue the name of the GetBackers, "The retrievers with almost 100% success rate", they more often than not have to face against tough opponents.
