Going back on the episode, it's quite surprising that they had that much gore this time. It wasn't the most sickening thing I've seen, and deme-chan's colors make it a little less badass, but I wasn't expecting to get a close shot of it eating a man. I guess expecting less also has an advantage. Also, it makes me wonder why blood is so much a big deal in anime. To me it's just spilled ink lol. What needs censorship are scenes like when Uvo bitchslapped that guy's head 90 degrees. I actually thought they would skip that. I wasn't bothered by the bgm nor how Kurapika is being depicted. Like i said the story flesh's out itself, it isn't suppose to give you a true idea of whats going on and thats what i get from the manga. So Kurapika meeting his teacher is unimportant? I'm sure people would want to know how they stumbled across each other which is in cannon fiiler. In cannon filler is better than made up bullshit thats gonna be demonstrated later.But whatever to each their own.
