Initial D: Second Stage (頭文字(イニシャル)D SECOND STAGE) is an anime television series based on the manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It was produced by Pastel and aired between October 14, 1999 and January 6, 2000 in Japan, consisting of 13 episodes. The series was released in North America on DVD by Tokyopop between January 11, 2005 and September 13, 2005 and by FUNimation Entertainment on February 1, 2011.
