The romantic relationship between the original vampire, Kol Mikaelson and the heretic, Ariana Gilbert. Kol and Ariana first met in Bringing Out The Dead when he got undaggered after a century. They officially met in Dangerous Liaisons at the Mikaelson Ball. They danced with one another, later that night they slept together for the first time. Ariana develops a strong bond with him quickly and Kol falls in love with her instantly. Their relationship was short lived when he was killed by Ariana's
