Shang Tsung is one of the main antagonists of the Mortal Kombat franchise. He is a powerful, manipulative sorcerer, virtually unmatched in his mastery of sorcery, and a shapeshifter who consumes souls in order to sustain himself. He often serves as Shao Kahn's right-hand, but with a traitorous ambition, preferring to plan behind others' back instead of direct conflict.
