4 chord progression in mind, I imagined it as I cut a drum track from scratch- improved the lot start to finish. Then different tracks varying instruments making it up as I went along & fucked around with a tape delay on some mics & vox track & xylophone & this is what happened, all first-takes. Very proud, I am. Sounds like a band all playing together, a shoddy band mayhaps, but it's got that 'feel' I wanted. Imagine a large dinosaur relaxing in a river munching on overhanging branches while the pirahna gently exfoliate it's bunyons - not a care in the world safe from human discovery as yet.. then, a flying saucer swoops down to whisk it away to a meta universe- upon an earth that humans have not fouled yet, with lots of other dinosaurs (of the gentle kind) to frolic with. Yes, life was good 4 'Mokele Mbembe', and JUST GOT BETTER :) 'Mokele Mbbeemmmbe'!
