Man, we've been back and forth on this one for a bit. Even though the most recent thread only closed a week and a half ago, some major changes have happened in particular to the Discord Android app that might warrant the server banner finally being added. The React Native version of the app has started rolling out, bringing feature parity across desktop, web and mobile clients, and finally getting rid of the annoying functionality where the banner shows up first when you scroll (it's now just glued to the top and only shown when you reach the top of the channel list). The bug (feature?) where you scroll back to the top when switching back from another server is sadly still around, though (don't know if this is just me or actually the case) it feels to me like the server banner has lost some of its height, plus the channel list has lost a fair bit of its internal padding, so it should be less of a hassle navigating around channels.
