Fabulous old home-made cottage-style doll house with gabled dormer, front porch balustrade, chimney, detailed window trim, real glass windows, cut-out shutters and working door. One of a kind--made with great care and detail for someone special, and now so perfectly aged for display! Wonderful patina and colors--the house has a painted a light yellow almost stucco-like exterior with a red roof and chimney, light green trim and brown stained door and shutters. The windows all have adorable shutters with circle cutouts, stained brown to match the front door. Detailed wood trim on the windows and door and gable above the front door adds great cottage vibe. The front two windows have real glass inserts and black paper/cardboard trim in them and there are nail holders for glass to be inserted in the other windows. The door has a little knob and is on hinges, swings in. Sits on a 1 painted platform. Likely made in the early 20th century. Super fun and charming! For display only unless restored. See pictures for details and condition. Measures 26 w x 18 1/4 d x 17 1/2 h (without chimney). House measures 24 2 x 14 1/2 d x 17 h. Platform measures 24 3/4 w x 18 1/2 d x 1 h.
