Wakatsu Kiryū (Japanese: 桐生 (きりゅう) 八 (わかつ) , Kiryū Wakatsu) was a third-year student at Mujinazaka High. He was the captain, a wing spiker, and ace for the Boys' Volleyball Team. At the time of his introduction, he is stated to be one of the top three aces in the nation.
