Seek is a major hostile entity in DOORS, and the secondary antagonist of the Hotel. Players will almost always confront it twice in a playthrough, with said encounters taking place before and after The Library, after a crescendo and each encounter generated randomly. The first encounter with Seek is when its eyes start to appear on the walls before its appearance and paintings contain its eyes, both being referred to as Seek's crescendo, foreshadowing the chase sequence.
